A NEW YEAR WITH A FRESH START.

We must begin with color- in particular, Pantone’s color of the year, Classic Blue. Blue is big-it evokes stability and a solid foundation, things many people are looking for now. There’s also the appealing natural aspect of blue. People gravitate towards this color family because it has positive affiliations, such as blue skies and clear blue waters.

Then there’s the trend Cozy Comfort. Controlling the chaos in your life by bringing in soft textures, natural materials and hand-made offerings create a meditative state in the home.

In the opposite direction, Maximalism. This trend is not subtle, as it delivers in-your- face impact with vibrant colors, over scaled sizes and powerful patterns. It invigorates the spirit of the home.

Lastly, there’s streamlined, where we focused on the products that have simple, clean shapes. but that doesn’t mean they are not attention grabbing. They may not have a lot of detailed carving or ornamentation, but they still demand notice.

So, with the start of a new year and a new decade, take some time look around your home and see what changes you would like to make this year or this decade.
